There are many ways one can learn how to deal with pimples but I prefer the methods that do not involve harsh chemicals. While prevention of acne would be best there are things you can do to treat and outbreak. Undoubtedly diet is probably the most important factor. It’s very important to get the proper amount of water to get rid of the toxins. Along with water green tea works really well.
Green tea is great for acne for several reasons. The first and foremost is acts as an anti-inflammatory. This will help reduce the redness and swelling that typically accompanies acne. One of the reasons it is so great is because unlike other teas it’s not fermented. This tea is steamed very quickly to ensure the healing properties are reserved.
The other great thing about this herbal tea is it’s great for cleansing out the body. When a person has acne sometimes it’s hard for the skin to perform the vital function of getting rid of toxins and this tea aids in that. Green tea reduces swelling and acts as an anti-bacterial.
When using green tea it is imperative not to add sweeteners to the tea. The tea is most potent in its raw form. I advise people who do not like the taste to try the capsules. They work just as well and results will be seen just as quick. There are also a number of green tea treatments that can be bought at health food stores that can be applied directly to the skin. The main key to any acne treatment is constancy by taking a proactive role you can head off acne before it starts.
In conclusion, acne is embarrassing, painful and sometimes an ongoing problem but by keeping a healthy diet one can learn how to deal with pimples.

Acne is a problem that is not exclusive to teenagers. Many adults have an on-going problem with adult acne. As an adult who suffered with acne, I can tell you first hand that I suffered through it until my late twenties. While it is best to prevent acne before it starts, I realize we live in a busy world and have a million other things to do. Often times we make personal care a last priority. This results in acne and many other health problems that could have easily been avoided. I receive many emails asking not only how to treat and prevent acne but also asking about the foods that prevent acne.
There is no magic solution cure all that works for everyone. The truth is our bodies respond to things differently, so in order to deal with acne we often must take a multi-faceted approach. This includes a good skin care regimen, exercise and even our diet. Read on to find out about the foods that prevent acne.
Typically our knee jerk reaction is to go to the store and buy a handful of products but keep in mind that these products just treat the symptoms not the root of the issue. These products are often times very expensive and abrasive to the face. There are cheap alternatives that work just as well.
Oatmeal is a great place to start. Applying cooked oatmeal to the face really helps acne clear up. It’s very important to make sure it’s not hot when applied to the face. Make sure its luke warm because burning the face is the last thing we want to happen.
Another option is to apply garlic to the face. Garlic is something that is used to treat many health problems including acne. The best way to do this is place garlic in a food processor and makes it into a paste like substance and rub on the face once or twice per day. Garlic acts like an antiseptic and an antibacterial.
Another method that will help you learn how to treat and prevent acne is eating certain foods. Foods like carrots, apples and cucumbers help acne because they are vitamin enriched. These vitamin enriched vegetables also contain minerals that help regulate the body’s hormone levels. There are many other foods that prevent acne but these two listed above are a couple of the more popular. When diet is combined with the proper skin regimen and exercise, treating and preventing acne is easy.

We all want to have clear beautiful skin yet there are many who simply don’t. Acne treatment is a billion dollar industry and all products promise to clear up acne. The probability is if you’re reading this article, they did not work as promised. The product manufactures want you to believe they have the miracle cure but sadly most fall short. Most over the counter acne products treat the symptoms instead of the cause. In order to truly learn how to deal with pimples one must prevent them from occurring in the first place.
There are two culprits that cause acne. One culprit is dirt or bacteria and the other is stress. These can individually cause acne and when combined can lead to a serious breakout. These breakouts can happen out of the blue or can be an ongoing event spanning months and sometimes years. While some think acne is only a teenage problem, know from experience that adults have it too.
When learning how to deal with pimples it’s important to control the amount of dirt and oil the face is exposed to. These dirt and oils seep into our pores via makeup, hair and diet.
- Oil based cosmetics is one of the worst acne causes. This is especially true for those of us who sleep in makeup. The oil from the make-up soaks into the pores causing them to become clogged. The clogged pore in turn tends to hold on to the dirt beneath the surface and then a pimple is formed. To combat this remove makeup each prior to bed and wash all cosmetic applicators thoroughly.
- Our hair is also a source of oils. Our hair comes in contact with our face constantly and when they retain oil it is transferred onto the face. This is especially true if you wear bangs. The best way to prevent oil from coming in contact with the skin via hair is to keep your hair up in a lose ponytail, braid or bun.
- Diet also plays a key role. Eating processed foods triples our chance to have acne problems. Try and stick with foods that are high in vitamins and minerals. Foods such as fish, chicken, apples, carrots and cucumbers are a good place to start. Avoid oily foods such as chips, candies and foods fried in oils. Instead of frying food grill or bake it.
Following these steps will decrease your likely hood of getting acne and will aid in treating it. The key is to be patient and consistent. Look at acne prevention at a lifestyle change instead of spot cure.

Are you a pimple popper? If so, you might sometimes think of the bad consequences of popping pimples. You might have seen and know someone with a scarred face due to popping pimples. Or it might even run in your family (your sisters and brothers have minor or major face scarring…) and you get scared that it is genetic and assume that it would happen to you too. There is also the fact that most people agree and think that doing so is bad. So the question really is, is popping pimples really that bad?
Eating fat is not bad. Eating excessive fat is bad. Earning money is not bad. Earning money by illegal means is bad. Crossing a road junction when traffic light is green is not bad. Crossing a road junction when the traffic light is red is bad. The point is doing something in excess, doing something improperly and doing something at the wrong time is definitely bad. The same can be said with popping our pimples. Though many say it is bad, the majority of those are also uninformed! Many just say them because that is what they have heard from other people.
In actuality, popping pimples is not entirely bad. Doing so properly and at the right time will rid you of your unwanted pimples. However, doing so without the proper knowledge of timing and technique can lead to disastrous results. So now you might ask, what is the proper way of popping pimples? To prove my point, here are the corrects steps in doing so:
- Wash your hands and face.
- Ready disinfectant alcohol, sterilized pin and a piece of clean cloth.
- Damp the cloth with alcohol.
- Check the color of your pimple. If it is red, then stop. Do not pop your pimple. If it is white, continue.
- Using the sterilized pin, try and poke the pimple gently. If it bursts then good. Let the puss come out and wipe the area of the pimple with your piece of cloth damped with alcohol to kill the bacteria. If it does not burst, discontinue.
If you follow the instructions above, then you would be able to pop your pimple correctly and at the right time. If you are not able to pop your pimple because you failed some of the tests, try again tomorrow and see if your pimple is ‘ripe for the taking’.

Many people think they know how to treat pimples but the fact is most do not. Most people see acne as an external condition. While the symptoms of acne manifest themselves on the outside, acne itself is evidence of an infection going on underneath the skin. This common misunderstanding leads people to spend hundreds of dollars on external treatments that simply do not work. Most external treatments cause the skin to become red and irritated making the acne far worse.
Acne is an internal problem therefore it should be treated from the inside out. This means one should eat and drink the right things in order to have healthier skin. In today’s fast paced society there is a great temptation to eat on the go. The plethora of fast food options make it easy to have any food you desire served quickly. This is one of the key contributors to acne. These foods have very little nutritional value and most are cooked in oils. These oils can cause breakouts and when combined with the poor nutritional value of the food, this equals a prescription for acne.
Breaking the cycle of poor diet is easier said than done because most of the fast food tastes so good, but is the acne worth it? People who are truly committed to learning how to treat pimples must understand that diet control is 75% of the battle. The other 25% is a good face cleaning regimen which will be discussed in a later article.
Another part of your diet that causes acne is smoking. Smoking can cause a person to have an excessive amount of blackheads and whiteheads. This is true no matter how much or little one smokes. There it should be cut from your diet entirely because of the other bad side effects on skin such as early aging. Following these steps will cause your current breakouts to clear up and you will not only know how to treat pimples better but also how to prevent them from happening.

ACNE, oh the word that wreaks havoc on most teenagers…. In our day in age, having a good appearance is everything, especially to young people. Being acne free is a difficult thing to achieve during teenage years, however many homemade acne treatments you read about online can help.
Doctors and researchers are no longer blaming high sugar and greasy foods as for what causes acne. It has been shown through studies that the types of food eaten seem to have little or no effect !
One of the major causes of acne is now thought to be hormone levels. Hormones found in men and women in sky rocket while in puberty and are thought to enlarge glands and increase the output of oil on your skin.
In a nutshell , acne forms when your pores get blocked , which leads to bacteria forming. Many researchers say that acne is hereditary , I for one believe it happens to everyone who doesn’t take care of their skin.
There are some external causes for acne. Heavy or greasy make ups can cause acne flair ups as can high humidity for some , prescription medications may have a side effect that causes acne.
Acne can be characterized by light to moderate and severe acne. Light to moderate acne is just having blackheads and really minor acne. A severe case of acne would include cysts and nodules , That can be very painful.
Light to moderate acne can be cleared up with products at the store , however depending on how you react to it , there could be a chance it will have either no effect or even irritate your acne even more. Especially with severe acne , which I have had in the past and got rid of using the 3 day acne guide. I have my story listed on my blog , if you want to see how I did it exactly.
It is suggested that you wash at least twice a day. Never squeeze or pick the pimples/zits on your face and don’t wash with a washcloth, use your hands. A washcloth can irritate the acne and make it worse.
The earlier that acne is treated, the better it will be. Getting rid of acne isn’t that easy though , you need a solid guide with good testimonials so it’s guaranteed to work.
That is why I posted my story about how I got rid of severe acne in my blog , so what are you waiting for ??
Be acne free starting today !

How to treat pimples is a question I am often asked and while there is no magic pill, there is hope. The first step in treating pimples or any kind of blemish for that matter is having a better understanding of acne. Understanding acne is easier said than done due to the multitude of myths circulating. Acne happens for a number of reasons but the main causes include diet, stress and hormonal imbalance. Myth – Acne only appears on face Acne can appear on the face, back and chest and usually are classified into pimples, nodules, blackheads and whiteheads. Myth – Acne is an external infection Acne occurs when the pores below the skin become blocked. Contrary to popular belief acne is an internal infection that should be treated with the proper diet. Myth – Acne should be treated with only topical creams Many of the so called acne cures on the market that claim to treat acne often times make the infection worse. This is why it’s important to follow a good face cleaning routine along with a healthy diet. When finding a topical treatment find one that is all natural so you avoid doing more damage to your skin. Myth – Chocolate causes acne The great news for all you chocolate lovers is chocolate does not cause acne. Chocolate should be had in moderation. The main types of food that specifically cause acne are processed foods and foods that are cooked in oils. This is why I advise to steer clear of fast food. These myths are perhaps the most common out of the many that still exist today. The truth is anyone can learn how to treat pimples by learning the importance of a proper diet following by a good skin cleaning routine.
